It was like cast iron, it was clamped to the table, with a big handle on the outside and rather like a bucket effect at the top. A square bucket at the top where you fed the meat through, and there was a spiral all the way down. It mangled all this stuff, a few carrots in as well and you put it in to make kind of a shepherd's pie thing. That would make with a bit of luck a couple of days. Because we had my younger brother, he was younger than me, he was working on a farm and would come in very hungry.
