The
Plumber and the Electrician

The plumber would have
his second fixing - he would have his radiators to fix on the wall
and all his pipe work would have gone through the floorboards and
he would pick it up from there. And then of course there was his
bathroom, and hand-basins in various rooms and that sort of thing.

And then there
was the electrician who came into to do his second fixing. That involved
switches and the plug tops and that sort of thing. That is very sophisticated
today and you've got to work in with the plumber to put his time switch
in.... and then often he has an alarm system to go in as well, and
lights come on at different times, its quite a thing the electricians
got to do |
