have co-sponsored Technology in the Community: a millennium reflection. This project has brought young people and older people together in the community, to talk about the changes in technology that have affected the lives of older people throughout this century. Through this project, older people have also been introduced to the Internet and e-mail, and will use the new technology to share reminiscences with others around the world.

have provided funds to enable an important archive of photographic negatives, depicting technological developments in radar during the Second World War, to be digitised.
