Ronald Sturt retired in 1981, but from the period 1974 to 1981 the Talking Newspapers Association had a colossal development nationally as well as local developments. The Talking Newspapers in city urban areas were notably difficult to get started. Tower Hamlets gave Ronald an insight into why it is difficult in a city to start a Talking Paper, as did Manchester and Sheffield.
