Within the two years I was there modern technology or modern as far as existed in 1950 came in and they were in fact invested in a second hand rotary press. Not the sort of rotary presses that we see today but at least it did manage to print from one empty reel to a full reel then it again cut and folded from there. But this was technology changing within my first days in newspapers which was 1949, it was 52 years ago.
