information would be received on the teleprinter in the early afternoon
of details of raids for the coming night, the controller would have
one copy and the operators another.
The information
consisted of:
1. The target
in code (Cologne- was Trout)
2. 2. A/C Call sign and time on target
3. Bomb load or target indicators
4. Height of A/C and air speed and direction
5. If we were "cat" or "mouse" (tracking or releasing)
6. Estimated wind speed and direction
7. Basic distance from Winterton
8. Distance from our parting station- we usually worked with Hawkshill
Down near Dorer.
