Daily Duties...

The 1/C of the duty watch had to phone the hostel every morning to wake the cook and ensure the morning watch was up. Occasionally this was forgotten and transport was missed and the crew had to walk to the site without breakfast.

The admin site together with the CHL transmitter/receiver block and an older standby site were all in the same guarded barbed wire compound covering quite a large area on the top of the hill. Admission to the block was by pass number, changed every morning at 6am. The radar blocks and the admin office and guard room were all some distance apart.
