November 26th and 27th Leaving for Yatesbury...

Thurs Nov 26th

Sadly left Wylfa with another WAAF for Yatesbury at 10:30am by train. Foggy by the time we reached Bangor and most dismal at Crewe. Trains late at Bristol so missed connection and had to spend part of the night there.

Fri Nov 27th

After two hours rest at YWCA rose at 2:30 and caught 3:50 train to Chippenham. Waited nearly 2 hours for train to Calne, arriving there in the dark, damp and cold at approx 6:30am. Another wait for transport to Yatesbury. Very tired, but had to go through usual booking in and then on duty (first lecture of course) until 12:30. Saturday morning feeling very fed-up.
