Flight in a Lancaster...

I was very fortunate as about two months after VE day Bomber command took a few WAAF operators on a flight in a Lancaster over the Rhur. A ballot was held and I was one of the lucky six from Winterton. We flew from Wyton two each to a plane in the bomb aimers position; an unforgetable experience.
