Kay has many memories of her time in the WAAF. In the interview, Kay was asked if she could recall the smells of the buildings in which she worked, listen to her response:

WAAF on the PT course with Kay

Life as a WAAF was different to that in 'Civvie Street' as all of the women had to do PT - Physical Training. Here Kay remembers being asked go on a PT instructor course.

After Kay had served for a few years she was demobbed when her father died and entered back into civilian life. Here she explains what happened once she left the WAAF.
