Oral
History in Archaeological Practice
This
short course is offered by the Oral History Research Unit at Bournemouth
University. It has been developed in collaboration with the Institute
of Field Archaeologists and English Heritage in response to a growing
awareness of the need for an oral dimension in an archaeology of the recent.
It
is taught by a Sociologist and Archaeologist who have a wide range of
research and consultancy experience in the application of oral history
to an understanding of recent material culture.
