Greta worked in the Midland Woodworking Company's office at Melton Mowbray, where she was involved with the administrational work of the comany. In this sound clip, Greta explains the work she did and the work MidWood did all over the country.

With developments in technology, electric typewriters began to replace the more traditional, manual typewriter.

Greta admits she didn't get on with the electric typewriters!
