Many people want
their food produced with no chemical interference whatsoever.
So-called 'smart-farming'
is back in vogue. This really means that the farmer has to be 'in tune'
with his land and he uses more traditional methods to solve problems rather
than resorting to artificial chemicals each time.
Organic farming
requires that no artificial materials should be applied to the crop and
that only naturally-occurring materials and methods be employed. This
can be complicated and thus organically produced food is usually more
expensive than from our current intensive farming methods.
Farmers have
always been very resourceful people and can often find ways of using their
existing equipment to manage other crops
