Len De La Perelle: The Lost Art of the
Draughtsman
"I went on a computer course actually, two
years before I retired. As far as I was concerned it was a bit of a dead loss.
I didn't think very much of it, I'll be honest with you. I mean, when you get
older, your mind is not so adept at picking up things and I thought 'Such a
dead loss!'. In fact, one of the things I said when I retired, I said 'The art
of draughting is gone'. The computer has revolutionised drawing, but the art of
draughting - well, it's a lost art."
