The Oral History Research Unit sound and documentary archive is located at the OHRU offices within Bournemouth University. In addition, certain items, mainly books and off-pronts of journal articles, are located in the University's Special Collection.The archive covers various aspects of Defence electronics from 1930 onwards, with a particular focus on the Telecommunications Research Establishment (TRE) at Worth Matravers in Dorset. Other aspects of technological development are also represented in the oral histories which have been gathered as part of our research.

Access to the archive at OHRU may be arranged by appointment with the manager.

Personal Callers
£5.00 per morning / afternoon (or part there of)
£10.00 per whole day

The OHRU can also undertake research on behalf of individuals and organisations, the charges for which are as follows:
