Yes, nice little...I did use it till quite recently. Shirley's got it now, yes, yes. Did a lot of hard work that did. Used to make our own curtains and things when we were married. Oh, yes, I mean, when you are first married, you don't have very much money, so you made...and of course in those days it was still turning sheets sides to middle, and of course the war years, lots and lots of sewing then, converting clothes, make do and mend, yes.

No, not in those days. You could do hemming and simple things like that on it, and gathering. If I remember rightly. You had a loose stitch that you could pull up to gather it, but apart from that - in those days, there were no attachments, no.
