Q. Now when you as a recipient received this Gwen, what was the experience you had?

A. Oh, mixed feelings, wondering how the tape was going to turn out to start with. It used to come through the letter box with just that little plop from the plastic wallet, you heard it come and at that time my guide dog, very alert, would go to the door and I would say fetch-pick up the wallet up for me at the front door and bring it straight back to me.

I would sit down with my little radio cassette player and listen to the news and it is all local news and it's amazing how much there is to record. This is a new town which had grown and grown since I've been here which is just over forty years. It's a long time and the development which had happened in the town, even ending up with the glass bell tower.
