Improvements in Technology...

The Talking Newspaper Association felt that a certain degree of pressure fell upon them to constantly be up on or ahead of technology. As a consequence they have an IT unit made up of a team of six young men and based at the headquarters. This team work to control the electronic development, input and output.

The Talking Newspaper also has accessible CR-ROM versions of its material which is available via subscription, as are the weekly newspapers, monthly journals and some specialist journals such as Gardening and the Gramophone.

Ronald estimates that there are around 430 member Talking Newspapers belonging to the Association and about 500 in total formed including local groups.
