The future of
the Talking Newspapers depends on two things. Firstly more people are
being registered as blind than ever before- which highlights the need
for such a service, and the supply of volunteers being at a constant.
Ronald suggests that perhaps the Talking Newspaper Association won't become
a professional service like it is in Sweden for a long time--but the success
and popularity of the UK service has spread right throughout the country-
and as far as Ireland. Ronald concludes that he thinks the Talking Newspaper
will in one form or another outlive most of us.
